At the invitation of FICCI, which is the strategic partner of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Mr Igor Piasetskii, Honorary Representative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India, took part in the GLOBAL MARITIME INDIA SUMMIT 2023.
Representatives from 41 countries and more than 3,000 thousand delegates took part in the summit. This large-scale event was attended by ministers of transport and port infrastructure, owners of ports, manufacturers of modern maritime vehicles, transport and logistics companies.
The main topic of the summit was the discussion of development projects and improvement of the transport infrastructure of the participating countries. During the event the concepts of creating new maritime vehicles and the development of new transport and logistics routes were presented.
On the fields of the summit Mr Igor Piasetskii held a number of bilateral meetings during which foreign partners expressed great interest in using the opportunities of the Northern Sea Route and the North-South transport corridor.
