A working meeting between FICCI Secretary General Mr Shailesh Pathak and the Honorary Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF) in the Republic of India Mr Igor Piasetskii took place in New Delhi.
The parties discussed various aspects of developing and deepening ties between small and medium-sized businesses that are members of FICCI and the CCI RF.
Particular attention was paid to issues of interregional cooperation, as well as participation in major specialized conferences and exhibitions under the auspices of FICCI and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr I.V. Piasetskii noted the deep interest of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses who are members of the regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Russia in establishing contacts with Indian companies from different states of the country that are part of the FICCI system.
From his side, Mr Shailesh Pathak stressed that FICCI is always ready to assist Russian enterprises in finding reliable partners in India from among the members of the Federation. He also noted that this year the number of visits of Russian business delegations organized by the regional chambers of the Russian Federation to India has sharply increased, and this will give an important impetus to the further development of trade and economic ties between our countries.
