On November 6 and 7, the 37th Conference of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (hereinafter referred to as CACCI) was held in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu.
The event was attended by representatives of 26 CACCI member countries. For the first time since 2020, Russia was represented in person at the conference by the Honorary Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, Mr Igor Piasetskii.
As part of the conference, Mr I.V. Piasecki took part in two plenary sessions dedicated to food and agriculture, as well as energy. In addition, he took part in a meeting of the CACCI council.
In B2B format Mr Piasetskii held meetings with business representatives from all countries participating in the conference. Most of them (Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Nepal) expressed a high degree of interest in developing cooperation with Russian business in all spheres of the economy.
