The international exhibition Smart Cities India Expo 2026 took place in Delhi, bringing together representatives of government and business communities from various countries, including a delegation from the Russian Federation.
The event focused on smart city development, digital infrastructure, and sustainable technologies. The Russian delegation showcased solutions in urban digitalization, energy efficiency, transport systems, and environmental technologies.
As part of the business program, meetings were held with Indian partners to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation and implementing joint projects.
Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, took part in the opening and plenary session of the forum.
A delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation also participated in the event, headed by the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Mikhailovich Platonov.
